It’s October, and that means it’s time for another edition of the GIF IT UP competition! Through the month of October, you can create gifs (What the heck is a GIF?) with copyright-free material from DPLA, Europeana, Trove, and DigitalNZ, and submit them to the contest to win internet fame and fortune (ok, mostly fame).
Never made a gif or want to brush up on your skills before you enter? DPLA has a few tutorials for you, and you can browse past submissions on the GIPHY channel.
Want to follow along and share but not enter? You can check out the GIPHY channel (and vote for your favorite!) and follow #GIFITUP2018 on social media, too.
