New Ways to Use DPLA

Great news from DPLA – they’ve recently added a way to filter your search results by reuse conditions with a Copyright Status Filter.

This means, for example, that if you are looking for something that is out of copyright or in copyright but able to be used for educational purposes, you can start your search with just those items, instead of having to look for the copyright status of each individual item you find.  The five categories include both copyright and licensing information in a range of reuse conditions.

You can see a snapshot of the categories for Ohio’s contributions below, but the filters will apply to all searches across the DPLA site. Enjoy!
