Harvests in Springtime? The world is topsy-turvy…

While none of us saw this new ‘stay at home’ reality coming, it’s emphasized just how much reach and impact digital collections can have. Many libraries, archives, and museums have increased their online presence, and are soliciting help for transcription projects from public volunteers or engaging in fun photo challenges.

We are pleased to be able to bring you access to even more Ohio-based collections today, as part of our Spring harvest into DPLA’s portal. You can browse through thousands of new items from many of our existing contributors, and from three institutions we are excited to welcome to ODN – the Cleveland Museum of Art Archives, Ohio University, and Wilmington College.

In all, we’ve added over 26,000 items to our collection, from exactly half of our now 22 contributing institutions! Head on over to DPLA to see what’s new from Kent State University, Kenyon College, MidPointe Library System, Ohio History Connection, the Public Library of Cincinnati and Hamilton County, State Library of Ohio, Toledo Lucas County Public Library, and Worthington Libraries.
